Walk-in Interview for professional

Petronas recently created a surprised move of inviting public to walk-in interview for professional executive role.

The positions available are:

I am sorry but this is quite a shocker.. usually you have walk-in interview because you are desperate for someone. This means that they are either having an large expansion or been having tough times in finding such talented people. Well, if I had been in the same field, I might go for it. Then again, if such area is so much less in supply, I might not go for it too because I would already been attached to a comfortable environment.

Well, so probably to those universities goer, maybe you should consider such professional degree to be pursued. Try to avoid Computering and Information Technology ok ?

Taiwan tourist attraction..

Taiwan recently been hot on promoting tourism among Malaysia, Singapore and etc. I figure they are trying to pull more people into the country to soften China's stand on its Independence approach. China has bascially given its military a legal right to attack Taiwan (as the press knows it) in case the latter moves towards formal independence. With presence of many tourist around Taiwan, such action may have to be deferred. So, if you guys are promoting peace, please promote and visit Taiwan famous for its theme park, tea-farm houses, natural attractions and shopping.

An article claimed that Singapore hard-decision to lift its 40 years ban on casino is meant to soften the reliance on its manufacturing sector and take a creative step towards its tourism industry. As we have predicted, it is meant to solved human-oriented problems, either having more targeted customers or less non-targeted customers is good for them. The main reason cited as below:

1. Reduce reliance on manufacturing sector
2. Improve construction sector
3. Improve ties between Malaysia and Singapore.
4. Create brand new tourism image.

Is Singapore too, felt pressure to promote itself as a tourism attraction in Asia ?

Anyhow, I like the idea of Singapore being more tourism-oriented than so called high-tech oriented, due to its geographical size. Similiar to Penang, one felt much more fun by travelling around an Island with restricted borders.

china - everybody business ?

recent analysis about war spat between China and Japan yields the following conclusion:

1. Japan realized that it has reached a point of saturation where it is impossible for the next break-through without invading the world largest market. In terms of market capitalization and geographic as well as human-aging factor, Japan is seeing a non-growth behaviour. Therefore, they have to move into China where both chinese and japanese have similiar body features compared to westerner or Eurasian.
2. Japan figure that one way to move into china without much hassle is to create a brotherly image among Chinese and Japanese. They do realize their ugly political past and thus took effort to alter the history in hope that the new generation of chinese living in the mainland would somehow forget about their ancestor misery. Japan claimed that the effort is aimed to give its own young generation a positive image about its country; children can't grow up in a positive manner when the history is teaching them to hate its own country. In actual fact, this brain-wash is meant for Chinese youngster.
3. India, Chinese and other countries is seeing more and more stable economic growth and thus Japan would be losing its ground as world second largest economy simply because the market share diminishes slowly. One way is to due with this is to J-V with the world's biggest population.
4. The older generation, if they have nothing better to do, would find it difficult to accept someone who has always been a woman and now claims to be a man. They find this invasion of integrity. They cannot pretend nothing has happened when it had.
